This fine-dressed gentleman is Tiki Barber, former New York Giants running back.
You may have heard of him because, well, he forces himself down your throat approximately three days per week.
If he’s not promoting some cheesy new children’s book, he’s going to be a fair and balanced personality on Fox and Friends or the Today show or whatever.**
**Since the smoke has cleared, Barber is officially a member of the Today Show cast and Football Night in America, both on NBC.
Then, there was the episode of publicly criticizing his Giant teammates on live TV last week. Included was a diss (yea, diss baby) of QB Eli Manning, as Tiki openly questioned the leadership skills of the young Prince of Passing.
And now, from this month’s new book (ON SHELVES TODAY!), Barber says he probably would still be playing for the Giants were it not for their big meanie of a head coach, Tom Coughlin.
If Tom Coughlin had not remained as head coach of the Giants, I might still be in a Giants uniform … [Coughlin] robbed me of what had been one of the most important things I had in my life, which was the joy I felt playing football. I had lost that. He had taken it away.
First, we checked every story and didn’t see one “Tiki torches former coach” headline. Get it together news people.
Second, God, we’re tired of Tiki’s whining. Just fade into the background like a mediocre running back of your caliber should. If you blew all your savings already and have to resort to Cadillac commercials, fine. But don’t start complaining about the game that made you a millionaire.
